Swat Liquid

Swat Liquid, a concentrate sheep dip containing cyromazine for the preventative control of blowfly strike on sheep. Swat Liquid is an ideal product to use by either showering, plunge dipping or jetting where residual protection against flystrike is required.

For the preventative control of blowfly strike:

To provide up to 12 weeks residual protection against flystrike caused by all the commonly found strike flies including the Australian Green Blowfly Lucilia cuprina.

Dose rate:

  • FOR LONGER TERM PROTECTION: (up to 12 weeks) Mix 2 litres of Swat Liquid with 1000 litres of water and apply by showering, plunge dipping or jetting.

  • FOR MEDIUM TERM PROTECTION: (up to 6 weeks)
    Mix 1 litre of Swat Liquid with 1000 litres of water and apply by showering or plunge dipping. Do not use this rate for hand jetting or through spray races.

Withholding periods:

  • Meat: 7 days
  • Milk: 35 days
  • Wool: 60 days
