Baycox 5% for Piglets
For the control of coccidiosis caused by Isospora suis in neonatal piglets. Isospora suis infection is a major cause of diarrhoea, dehydration, loss of appetite, poor growth and occasional mortality in piglets between birth and 3-4 weeks of age.
The mode of action of totrazuril against multiplying stages of
the coccidian life cycle allows the infested animal to develop an
immunity to future infections whilst effectively curbing the
harmful effects of the current infection.
Baycox Piglet (5% Toltrazuril) provides highly effective control
of neonatal swine coccidiosis in the form of a convenient treatment
before clinical signs appear or harmful effects become
established.
In piggeries affected by coccidiosis, a single oral treatment
with 1 mL totrazuril (Baycox Piglet) per piglet at the age of 3 to
6 days has been found to yield excellent results.
This "metaphylactic" treatment prevents appearance of clinical
signs and production losses, whilst allowing the development of
immunity. Intracellular stages of the parasite, damaged by
toltrazuril, remain in the host cells for sufficient time to
provide antigenic stimulus for the development of immunity to
further infection.

Baycox 2.5% Solution
Baycox 2.5% Solution is for the treatment of coccidiosis in poultry and acts on all intracellular stages of coccidian. Baycox 2.5% solution has a very wide spectrum of activity. Toltrazuril is absorbed from the intestine at a rate of at least 50%. The highest concentrations of the compound and the main metabolite are found in the kidney and liver.

Baycox C
Baycox C is for the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in cattle up to 9 months caused by Eimeria bovis or Eimeria zuernii. Coccidiosis typically occurs in cattle less than a year old causing diarrhoea which is often blood stained. Recently weaned calves are particularly susceptible to outbreaks of clinical disease. One dose is effective because it attacks all stages of the parasite in the animal.
